"Mirror of the Sun" is a unique art project that includes CD and video releases, articles, and podcasts.

With 'Naturopera', Ballhaus continues experimenting within new formats for classical music performances; The opera will be about nature and in nature! The opera will be performed outdoors in fantastic natural surroundings.

The Ballhaus association produces performing arts (in the broadest sense of the term) with roots planted in the classical and acoustic music tradition. The purpose of the association is inspired by the New Zealand music sociologist Christoffer Small's thoughts on music as a social and socializing activity; Musicking rather than music!

Site-responsive concerts are an exciting format where the music responds to everything that characterizes the performance site; spatial conditions, light conditions, acoustics, historical context, function of the place, etc. The music thus relates to the place of performance, and the place itself becomes an active part of the musical expression.

First part of the new Ballhaus website is up and running! There are still many minor things to fix over the next few months, but the most important features are in place.
